Mahitahi Hauora provides an essential service supporting Northland general practices, iwi health providers, and other primary health organisations. Even though our doors are shut and most of our team is working remotely, there is a lot of work going on to support the Northland COVID-19 response.
We continue to support general practices, iwi providers, and other primary health organisations around the region. Our focus is on protecting our most vulnerable, our health workforce, and all Northlanders.
During this time, if you are unwell and would normally see a doctor, you should call your General Practice. Our practice teams are doing phone and video consults, as well as some face-to-face appointments when needed. Give them a call and they will let you know what type of appointment is needed to help you with your concern. You can find contact details for your general practice here.
