HR Administrator - Whangarei

Mahitahi Hauora is a primary health entity underpinned by Ti Tiriti o Waitangi, our Kaupapa includes ensuring whanau and communities are able to achieve self-determined wellbeing, access to the services they determine they need, and to live a long and healthy life.  We work collaboratively with community, primary healthcare providers and key partners to support general practices, Māori health providers and social sector agencies, in achieving better health outcomes for our Tai Tokerau population.

 

We are looking for a highly organised HR Administrator experienced in end to end recruitment, HR process management and HR related documentation and support.  This is a busy and varied role working in a small team where you will support the administration and improvement of HR systems and processes for the organisation.  

 

Working across all functions of HR, you will have key responsibilities of:

  • Providing HR Generalist services to support the HR Team
  • Assisting with Recruitment, Retention, and Exiting of Employees
  • Policy Administration
  • Supporting the development and growth of a positive and inclusive culture
  • HR Project support

 We are looking for someone who is passionate about people, works with a high level of integrity, enjoys being busy and is able to offer the following skills and experience that will support our organisation:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or HR experience equivalent
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Exceptional communication written and verbal
  • Understanding of and ability to write policy
