Mahitahi Hauora PHE - Administrator, Central Services Coordination

Mahitahi Hauora is a newly formed primary health entity established to transform how primary healthcare is delivered in Northland.  We support a primary health care system that sustains equitable self-determined wellbeing and ensures every person in Northland can live a long and healthy life.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to join our Mahitahi Hauora Central Services Coordination Team.  You will be responsible for providing administrative support within the coordination of healthcare services across all programs to ensure accurate data collection and timely referrals to services.

The key functions of this position include:

  • Providing administrative support to Clinical and Non-Clinical coordinators to ensure service delivery is met
  • Develop an understanding and knowledge of all clinical programs within the coordination of services
  • Liaison with healthcare providers and patients
  • Accurate collection and dissemination of data
  • Administration support for the Central Services Coordination Hub as required

To be considered for this position you should:

  • Have an open mind and ability to change quickly as the need arises
  • Multitasking ability and a willingness to lend a hand at anything
  • An intermediate level of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Proven experience and accuracy in data collection
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Have a passion for supporting others and achieving results
  • An unencumbered drivers licence
  • Be a NZ Citizen or have a current NZ Work visa.

Experience in the health industry would be an advantage however not essential.
