Musculoskeletal Programme Manager

This is a 1-year fixed-term position

We have an exciting new role for an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to develop a sustainable musculoskeletal management programme that will assist providers with responding to primary health care needs. Working with multi-disciplinary teams and individual clients, this role will ensure high-quality, best practice service delivery across our Te Tai Tokerau population. 

Key Functions of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing the musculoskeletal programme to assist in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions
  • Leading a codesign process with Multi-Disciplinary Teams to ensure the programme meets the needs of the Te Tai Tokerau population and is a whanau-centred programme
  • Supporting, strengthening and analysing the capability of providers and ensuring evidence-based, best practice process in service delivery

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
  • Be able to demonstrate project management, codesign and leadership experience
  • Have advanced computer literacy, and an unencumbered driver’s licence
  • Demonstrable commitment to equitable outcomes for Māori and Te Tiriti O Waitangi 

This role will report to the Workforce Experience Improvement Leader and will work closely with and across the primary healthcare workforce.
